One of the things the Mortal Kombat Legends series has going for it is the infinite timelines. Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind offers up new ideas on klassic characters such as King Kano, a klassic MK character turned from thug to King in this timeline. King Kano also has his followers who include klassic characters Kabal, Tremor, and a few others from the beloved 3D era.

Protagonist Kenshi Takahshi and an old man named Kuai Liang team up to defeat King Kano and his followers as the basis for the action. With some plot twists and surprises, the story was enjoyable. It lingered a little too long in some parts but overall, it had good pacing.

An MK Legends movie isn’t without its fair share of bloody violence. Snow Blind is no exception; in fact, it may be the most brutal yet. Hopefully, with MK Legends taking advantage of MK11’s infinite timelines, it will revisit more klassic MK stories with fresh ideas. – Esau
