I\u2019m a HUGE<\/span> Gun\u00addam fan. Next to my love of Mega Man, Gun\u00addam is my sec\u00adond great\u00adest obses\u00adsion. Because of lim\u00adit\u00aded space, I\u2019ll have to be con\u00adtent with the lim\u00adit\u00aded Gun\u00addam<\/span><\/span> merch that I have amassed. The lat\u00adest addi\u00adtion was giv\u00aden to me for my recent birth\u00adday; it made me recall play\u00ading a Gun\u00addam arcade fight\u00ading game at Nashicon 2016. Would it serve to sat\u00adis\u00adfy my hunger for giant robots caus\u00ading mas\u00adsive dam\u00adage and beat\u00ading them\u00adselves to obliv\u00adion? \u201cGun\u00addam Ver\u00adsus\u201d for PlaySta\u00adtion 4 gave me my answer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gun\u00addam Ver\u00adsus has some unique advan\u00adtages going for it as a fight\u00ading game. Its source mate\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal is based on a uni\u00adver\u00adsal\u00adly rec\u00adog\u00adnized ani\u00adme series. Unlike oth\u00ader fight\u00ading games, it does not have a sto\u00adry\u00adline, allow\u00ading you to jump straight to the action with\u00adout know\u00ading <\/span>back\u00adground sto\u00adry. That sold me as some\u00adone who knows a series\u2019 back\u00adground, not need\u00ading knowl\u00adedge about spe\u00adcif\u00adic char\u00adac\u00adters\u2019 background.<\/span><\/p>\n

The abil\u00adi\u00adty to choose a <\/span><\/span>series favorite from a ros\u00adter of more than 90 mobile suits from var\u00adi\u00adous Gun\u00addam works ensures that you are not lim\u00adit\u00aded to char\u00adac\u00adters in Gun\u00addam series only aired in the U.S. Each stage is open area, allow\u00ading you to plan offense or defense with the ben\u00ade\u00adfit of hid\u00ading or run\u00adning from your oppo\u00adnents while recov\u00ader\u00ading from attacks. While I was dis\u00adap\u00adpoint\u00aded that the game didn\u2019t offer an Eng\u00adlish dub track, the orig\u00adi\u00adnal Japan\u00adese audio for the Gun\u00addam fran\u00adchise ensured that Ver\u00adsus has the appro\u00adpri\u00adate Gun\u00addam feel.<\/span><\/p>\n

A down\u00adside is that cer\u00adtain series I liked and want\u00aded to use suits from are stuck as paid con\u00adtent, which left Gun\u00addam fans like me at Bandai Namco\u2019s mer\u00adcy regard\u00ading afford\u00adable pricing.<\/span><\/p>\n
