Fight\u00ading game con\u00adnois\u00adseurs have a robust buf\u00adfet to choose from these days. There\u2019s Mar\u00advel, Street Fight\u00ader, Tekken and Mor\u00adtal Kom\u00adbat for tour\u00adna\u00adment purists, a new Soul Cal\u00adibur has been announced, and a new Smash is on the hori\u00adzon and the old\u00ader games in the series are still played in some cir\u00adcles. Guilty Gear, which has always been qui\u00adet\u00adly in the back of the lunch\u00adroom, was a mix of tour\u00adna\u00adment and casu\u00adal, so it stands to rea\u00adson that its spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal suc\u00adces\u00adsor \u2014 BlazBlue \u2014 would mim\u00adic that notion.<\/span><\/p>\n

BlazBlue arrived in the fight\u00ading game scene as a new entry in the port\u00adfo\u00adlio of Guilty Gear devel\u00adop\u00ader Arc\u00adSys\u00adtem. Tak\u00ading what they learned from that series, Arc\u00adSys\u00adtem improved upon the for\u00admu\u00adla they\u2019d cre\u00adat\u00aded with gor\u00adgeous visu\u00adals, a rock\u00ading sound\u00adtrack and impres\u00adsive game\u00adplay options that ensure you\u2019ll have plen\u00adty to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

BlazBlue CSE<\/span> starts off rather intim\u00adi\u00addat\u00ading\u00adly. From the begin\u00adning, there are quite a few modes to choose from. If you\u2019re not informed, you might be a lit\u00adtle lost try\u00ading to under\u00adstand just where you should start. With a var\u00adied plate to choose from, at the very least the modes are inter\u00adest\u00ading\u00adly designed and add val\u00adue to an already-packed game. <\/span>
\nThe stand\u00adout fea\u00adtures, how\u00adev\u00ader, are the graph\u00adics and sto\u00adry. As with Guilty Gear, you\u2019re get\u00adting a treat visu\u00adal\u00adly. The lev\u00adel of detail in each char\u00adac\u00adter and the back\u00adgrounds make the game worth sit\u00adting down and study\u00ading. If you\u2019re into ani\u00adme, the aes\u00adthet\u00adics were designed with you in mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

The sto\u00adry is also wor\u00adthy of com\u00adpar\u00adi\u00adson to most mod\u00adern ani\u00adme. It\u2019s con\u00advo\u00adlut\u00aded and com\u00adplex and has twists and turns involv\u00ading a mul\u00adti-lay\u00adered cast. There\u2019s a lot about the search\u00ading for a sav\u00adior and mag\u00adic \u2014 which isn\u2019t out of place for an Arc\u00adSys\u00adtem game. It feels famil\u00adiar but it doesn\u2019t detract from the fact that it\u2019s lay\u00adered and deep.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn\u00ading the mechan\u00adics for most fight\u00ading games is a mixed bag. Some games expect you to be able to jump in and mas\u00adter the basics as if you\u2019ve done noth\u00ading but play fight\u00ading games all of your gam\u00ading life. Oth\u00aders like to give you a tuto\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal so that you\u2019re not lost and quick\u00adly putting the game down, nev\u00ader to return. BlazBlue CSE<\/span> is in the lat\u00adter cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adry: So con\u00adcerned is the game about you learn\u00ading to play and mas\u00adter all that it has to offer that it throws a sur\u00adpris\u00ading\u00adly deep tuto\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal mode at you. If you love Guilty Gear or if you just want a deep\u00ader sto\u00adry\u00adline than what\u2019s cur\u00adrent\u00adly offered by the larg\u00ader more well-known titles on the mar\u00adket in fight\u00ading games, BlazBlue promis\u00ades to deliv\u00ader a rich expe\u00adri\u00adence. It deliv\u00aders on that promise with a com\u00admit\u00adment to extend\u00ading beyond just the reg\u00adu\u00adlar fight\u00ading game expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n
