and let me tell you, I had a lot of fun with this one and so will you. It posts a few unique inno\u00adva\u00adtions as well as an online only style all of its own. And, of course, giant robots \u2026 every\u00adthing is bet\u00adter with giant robots. The cam\u00adpaign mode is weird at first but it\u2019s noth\u00ading that can\u2019t be handled.<\/span><\/p>\n

Titan\u00adfall takes place in the dis\u00adtant future and in anoth\u00ader col\u00ado\u00adnized area of space. Two war\u00adring fac\u00adtions, the IMC<\/span> and the Fron\u00adtier Mili\u00adtia, are fight\u00ading for con\u00adtrol of their lit\u00adtle pieces of space and the place they call home. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, the IMC<\/span> seem to be look\u00ading to con\u00adtrol the area under the flag of Ham\u00admond Indus\u00adtries, a galac\u00adtic wide\u00adspread com\u00adpa\u00adny that has its hands in \u2026 well, pret\u00adty much every\u00adthing. Then in comes the Fron\u00adtier Mili\u00adtia, who believe the peo\u00adple are bet\u00adter off with\u00adout the watch\u00adful eye of the IMC<\/span> and Ham\u00admond Indus\u00adtries telling you what to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

Titan\u00adfall is a very impres\u00adsive and beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly ren\u00addered game. It\u2019s cur\u00adrent\u00adly out for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC<\/span>. I have it for Xbox One and it\u2019s about the only first-per\u00adson shoot\u00ader that I cur\u00adrent\u00adly play. The game\u00adplay is pret\u00adty much like Call of Duty, but that\u2019s to be expect\u00aded when Infin\u00adi\u00adty Ward closed its doors and reopened to a split in the com\u00adpa\u00adny not called Respawn Enter\u00adtain\u00adment and Sledgham\u00admer Games. Respawn Enter\u00adtain\u00adment is pret\u00adty much made up of the devel\u00adop\u00aders that made the COD<\/span> series sto\u00adries and games what they were.<\/span><\/p>\n

The addi\u00adtion of the Titans (25- to 30-foot-tall robots) and the abil\u00adi\u00adty to either pilot or have the AI<\/span> con\u00adtrol it makes for a new num\u00adber of things that can be done. <\/span>There is a cam\u00adpaign mode but it is mul\u00adti\u00adplay\u00ader-based, mean\u00ading that the sto\u00adry is con\u00adtrolled by the out\u00adcome of the win\u00adning team in some mis\u00adsions. It only allows for 6v6 (12v12, if you include hav\u00ading the AI-con\u00adtrolled Titans on the map as well) so that the games can remain as lag free as pos\u00adsi\u00adble. Don\u2019t want to ride inside your own Titan, well hop out and switch your Titan to either guard or fol\u00adlow to help hold a posi\u00adtion or for a lit\u00adtle back\u00adup. I must admit that I am rarely rid\u00ading inside my Titan when I play. They have a nice selec\u00adtion of weapons for the pilots but only about six for the Titans them\u00adselves, which is fine by me.<\/span><\/p>\n

The mul\u00adti\u00adplay\u00ader is done real\u00adly well, but right now there are only sev\u00aden play modes, with the sev\u00adenth as a mash-up vari\u00adety pack that con\u00adsists of all play modes on all maps ran\u00addom\u00adly select\u00ading both. I believe the Xbox 360 ver\u00adsion is miss\u00ading a mode or two.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is how I see it: Titan\u00adfall is one of those games you hear about and think it would be awe\u00adsome if they can pull it off right. Respawn did their home\u00adwork and came up with a game that is fun and immer\u00adsive. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, it kind of hin\u00addered itself by being online only, and although the down\u00adload need\u00aded to play it on Xbox 360 isn\u2019t as mas\u00adsive as the GTAV<\/span> down\u00adload (1.3 GB<\/span> ver\u00adsus 7.9 GB<\/span>), it\u2019s still a bit annoy\u00ading. How\u00adev\u00ader, you don\u2019t have to delete data to play. A match\u00admak\u00ading option that puts you with peo\u00adple in the same skill lev\u00adel would be a nice idea, too. If you haven\u2019t played it, then you should def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly \u201cPre\u00adpare for Titanfall.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
