A whole new world awaits<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lush, breath\u00adtak\u00ading, com\u00adpli\u00adcat\u00aded, try\u00ading. If you weren\u2019t a fan of Mon\u00adster Hunter as a fran\u00adchise until you played Mon\u00adster Hunter: World, con\u00adsid\u00ader your\u00adself miss\u00ading out on some\u00adthing won\u00addrous. Mon\u00adster Hunter: World is as close to per\u00adfec\u00adtion as an action RPG<\/span> can be.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every\u00adthing begins with you. You begin your adven\u00adture as a hunter join\u00ading the Fifth Fleet on an expe\u00addi\u00adtion to the New World. You are tasked with explor\u00ading the vast wild in search of infor\u00adma\u00adtion and sci\u00adence. You\u2019re sup\u00adport\u00aded with an assis\u00adtant \u2014 Pal\u00adi\u00adcoes \u2014 and oth\u00ader offi\u00adcers of the Fifth Fleet, who help with hunt\u00ading the flo\u00adra and fau\u00adna in the wide unknown so that you may inform the Research Com\u00admis\u00adsion of your find\u00adings and pos\u00adsi\u00adbly stop the extinc\u00adtion of vital drag\u00adons. The sto\u00adry is engross\u00ading, well-writ\u00adten and eas\u00adi\u00adly digestible with hints of more to come as you explore every nook of the new land. <\/span><\/p>\n

And explore you will because that\u2019s the name of the game here: Hunt\u00ading. You, the hunter, go into the world to hunt mon\u00adsters of all sizes. Dur\u00ading your hunts, you\u2019re using your wits and the envi\u00adron\u00adment to your advan\u00adtage, care\u00adful not to faint too many times while work\u00ading to take down a crea\u00adture so that you may get new parts to craft gear and weapons. The craft\u00ading aspect is fan\u00adtas\u00adtic. The vari\u00adety of gear and equip\u00adment that can be gen\u00ader\u00adat\u00aded is off the charts, and there is noth\u00ading more sat\u00adis\u00adfy\u00ading than tak\u00ading down a new ene\u00admy and obtain\u00ading new, more pow\u00ader\u00adful gear. Cap\u00adcom knew the essence of the high that comes from win\u00adning a hard-fought bat\u00adtle, loot, craft bet\u00adter gear and repeat. And they\u2019ve cap\u00adtured that essence mas\u00adter\u00adful\u00adly here with increas\u00ading incen\u00adtives and nuanced pac\u00ading. Fight\u00ading nev\u00ader feels weird, and it quick\u00adly becomes sec\u00adond nature to swing your sword and make waves in bat\u00adtle. My only gripe here is that there is so much to learn with the bat\u00adtle mechan\u00adics and item craft\u00ading and usage that some\u00adtimes it gets over\u00adwhelm\u00ading. Tak\u00ading your time to read the tuto\u00adri\u00adals and work through sce\u00adnar\u00adios in train\u00ading is the way to com\u00adbat that. I\u2019m pleased with this set\u00adup because I\u2019d rather get too much infor\u00adma\u00adtion than not enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

While on your expe\u00addi\u00adtions or even at the hub, stop a moment when you can and admire the beau\u00adty that Cap\u00adcom has cre\u00adat\u00aded. The game is one of the most beau\u00adti\u00adful I have ever seen. I fre\u00adquent\u00adly stop to watch the scenery and take in the detail of the sur\u00adround\u00adings. And, I want to espe\u00adcial\u00adly high\u00adlight the impres\u00adsive char\u00adac\u00adter cre\u00adation suite. If I can cre\u00adate my own char\u00adac\u00adter in a game, I want bold and accu\u00adrate tools to do so. Mon\u00adster Hunter: World gave me that and more. I spent two hours with it alone and I still want\u00aded to spend more time there. The wealth of options is out\u00adstand\u00ading, and I\u2019m extreme\u00adly impressed with the diver\u00adsi\u00adty found with\u00adin. I can make a char\u00adac\u00adter that accu\u00adrate\u00adly looks like me with gor\u00adgeous options for hair\u00adstyles \u2026 or not. But I love the options giv\u00aden, and I can\u2019t praise that fea\u00adture enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

The sound\u00adtrack is anoth\u00ader stand\u00adout in the pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion. It\u2019s fun, fast-paced and engag\u00ading. No track is out of place and it\u2019s well-scored with so many dif\u00adfer\u00adent instru\u00adments that it puts almost every oth\u00ader adven\u00adture title to shame. This is big-bud\u00adget music and it shows in every sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion you\u2019ll find your\u00adself in every envi\u00adron\u00adment. Also, the Pal\u00adi\u00adcoes\u2019 sound effects are some of the most adorable cat rep\u00adre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtions I\u2019ve ever heard. If you love cats like I do, you\u2019re going to be say\u00ading \u201cAww, how adorable!\u201d every five sec\u00adonds and it\u2019s not going to ever get old. That\u2019s the mark of good audio, honestly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mon\u00adster Hunter: World is a mas\u00adter\u00adpiece in adven\u00adture. No short\u00adage of things to do, a wealth of options and sto\u00adry and great mechan\u00adics come togeth\u00ader in a majes\u00adtic mag\u00adnum opus of craft\u00ading and sur\u00advival. The hunt for per\u00adfec\u00adtion is over with Mon\u00adster Hunter: World.<\/span><\/p>\n
