Background<\/strong>: Born of the cosmos as the older twin son of the Faltine being known as Sinifer, Dormammu and his sister Umar gained matter to themselves and created permanent bodies. The twins then caused the death of Sinifer and were exiled. While in exile, they found the Dark Dimension and eventually took it over. Umar eventually went mad after having her daughter Clea (future wife of Dr. Strange), and Dormammu took over as sole ruler of the dimension. He has since tangled with Dr. Strange, the Avengers and Odin of Asgard.<\/p>\n
