Most of the awe\u00adsome-lev\u00adel ani\u00adme old and new has came from Japan\u2019s world-renown Tat\u00adsunoko Pro\u00adduc\u00adtions. So, when I heard that Cap\u00adcom was reviv\u00ading its \u201cVer\u00adsus\u201d series, I thought that Cap\u00adcom was run\u00adning out of gam\u00ading ideas. That was until it was announced that Tat\u00adsunoko would play a major role. I thought it was a joke, but I was in shock when the rumors were true and thus the ques\u00adtion came about: What would hap\u00adpen if Cap\u00adcom\u2019s heroes met Tat\u00adsunoko\u2019s heroes in a gam\u00ading for\u00adest? Tat\u00adsunoko vs. Cap\u00adcom: Ulti\u00admate All-Stars for the Wii answered that ques\u00adtion for&nbsp;me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Devel\u00adoped by Eight\u00ading and pub\u00adlished by Cap\u00adcom, Tat\u00adsunoko vs. Cap\u00adcom is a <span class=\"caps\">3D<\/span> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-583\" src=\"http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Score-5.jpg\" alt width=\"90\" height=\"148\">game that places var\u00adi\u00adous char\u00adac\u00adters from both com\u00adpa\u00adnies\u2019 top-sell\u00ading series into a exclu\u00adsive fight\u00ading game treat. Inspired by the Mar\u00advel vs. Cap\u00adcom series, TvC allows duos from either Cap\u00adcom\u2019s or Tat\u00adsunoko\u2019s ros\u00adters to fight against oth\u00ader char\u00adac\u00adters with the win\u00adning team going on to face Yami from Cap\u00adcom\u2019s adven\u00adture title Oka\u00admi. If you like to mix a Cap\u00adcom char\u00adac\u00adter with a Tat\u00adsunoko char\u00adac\u00adter, that\u2019s also pos\u00adsi\u00adble as a way to give the game\u00adplay more vari\u00adety. In addi\u00adtion to the orig\u00adi\u00adnal arcade mode, there are sur\u00advival and time attack modes that allow you to test your skills via lim\u00adit\u00aded health regen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion and defeat\u00ading your oppo\u00adnents in the short\u00adest time pos\u00adsi\u00adble. An addi\u00adtion\u00adal fea\u00adture includes a mini-game shoot\u00ader called \u201cUlti\u00admate All-Shooters.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Con\u00adtrol is han\u00addled with three but\u00adtons, which great\u00adly sim\u00adpli\u00adfies the learn\u00ading curve. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-679\" src=\"http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Tatsunoko-vs-Capcom-12-300x165.png\" alt width=\"300\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Tatsunoko-vs-Capcom-12-300x165.png 300w, http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Tatsunoko-vs-Capcom-12-768x423.png 768w, http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Tatsunoko-vs-Capcom-12-500x275.png 500w, http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Tatsunoko-vs-Capcom-12.png 864w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\">It\u2019s sim\u00adpli\u00adfied even more thanks to the Wii\u2019s Clas\u00adsic con\u00adtroller, Game\u00adCube con\u00adtroller, third-par\u00adty arcade sticks and the reg\u00adu\u00adlar Wii remote. You will love the char\u00adac\u00adter ros\u00adter con\u00adsist\u00ading of each com\u00adpa\u00adnies\u2019 top fran\u00adchis\u00ades such as Street Fight\u00ader, Rival Schools, Viewti\u00adful Joe, Lost Plan\u00adet, Darkstalkers\/Vampire and Mega Man for Cap\u00adcom while Tat\u00adsunoko is rep\u00adre\u00adsent\u00aded by Karas, Tekka\u00adman, G\u2011Force and Yat\u00adter\u00adman. There are oth\u00ader char\u00adac\u00adters that can be unlocked via use of mon\u00adey (Zen\u00adny) earned in each game, which also will allow pur\u00adchase of alter\u00adnate end\u00adings, cos\u00adtume changes and oth\u00ader unlock\u00adable surprises.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The music is top-notch in each stage, but the intro and end\u00adings songs are fun to sing and dance to. In par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar, the Gesellschaft (Clear Skies) and the Dai\u00adgo Tem\u00adple (Cher\u00adry Blos\u00adsom) stages are favorites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Tat\u00adsunoko vs. Cap\u00adcom: Ulti\u00admate All-Stars is an answered prayer for fans of fight\u00ading games and ani\u00adme. As a first-time con\u00adnois\u00adseur of this type of crossover, TvC is delight\u00adful game expe\u00adri\u00adence. As an otaku gamer, Cap\u00adcom can work on my damn nerves at times with their no-thought deci\u00adsions, but in this case, they worked with a renown ani\u00adme com\u00adpa\u00adny to bring a qual\u00adi\u00adty prod\u00aduct to a sys\u00adtem that was in <span class=\"caps\">SORE<\/span> need of well-round\u00aded games. Now only if Cap\u00adcom can make amends with Kei\u00adji Ina\u00adfu\u00adne. They might be respect\u00aded once&nbsp;more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #339966;\"><strong><span class=\"caps\">2UP<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">EVALUATION<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All of the raz\u00adzle daz\u00adzle hype aside, Tat\u00adsunoko vs. Cap\u00adcom is some\u00adthing I want to play. I\u2019m<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-593\" src=\"http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Lyndsey-EIC-2020-300x150.png\" alt width=\"300\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Lyndsey-EIC-2020-300x150.png 300w, http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Lyndsey-EIC-2020-500x250.png 500w, http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Lyndsey-EIC-2020.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\"> already a fan of most Cap\u00adcom fight\u00ading prop\u00ader\u00adties, and I love the Ver\u00adsus series, so I\u2019m going to play what\u00adev\u00ader they come up with next to join forces with and cre\u00adate mag\u00adic. In this case, it\u2019s ani\u00adme relat\u00aded as well, so there\u2019s a win\u00adning com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtion all the way around.<\/p>\n<p>I did\u00adn\u2019t know much about Tat\u00adsunoko before play\u00ading the game, but after spend\u00ading a lit\u00adtle time immersed in the super sen\u00adtai world, I learned that it\u2019s some\u00adthing that\u2019s com\u00adpelling to <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-582\" src=\"http:\/\/gaminginsurrection.com\/reviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Score-4-5.jpg\" alt width=\"90\" height=\"148\">return to time and time again. Nice mechan\u00adics, an inter\u00adest\u00ading ros\u00adter and gor\u00adgeous atten\u00adtion to detail with the envi\u00adron\u00adments and sound\u00adtrack make it a nice pack\u00adage. My only gripes are that the sto\u00adry does\u00adn\u2019t real\u00adly make a whole lot of sense (real\u00adly, Yami from Oka\u00admi, Cap\u00adcom? That\u2019s it?), and that not know\u00ading that much about Tat\u00adsunoko actu\u00adal\u00adly works against me. Oth\u00ader than that, there\u2019s isn\u2019t a rea\u00adson why I would\u00adn\u2019t play this con\u00adstant\u00adly, even if it is a Wii exclu\u00adsive.
