The Pun\u00adish\u00ader makes good in dig\u00adi\u00adtal crime cleanup<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Before Mar\u00advel vs. Cap\u00adcom became a rel\u00ade\u00advant name to gamers, the com\u00adpa\u00adnies col\u00adlab\u00ado\u00adrat\u00aded on oth\u00ader games. Those games became essen\u00adtial clas\u00adsics to devel\u00adop gamers who spe\u00adcial\u00adized in sin\u00adgle-com\u00adbat titles. In 1994, Cap\u00adcom and Mar\u00advel brought a Final Fight-style game to the Gen\u00ade\u00adsis that starred comics\u2019 most infa\u00admous anti-hero: Frank Cas\u00adtle aka The Punisher.<\/span>
\nThe game fol\u00adlows the sto\u00adry\u00adline of the clas\u00adsic Mar\u00advel comics series. Frank Cas\u00adtle, a dec\u00ado\u00adrat\u00aded vet\u00ader\u00adan Marine, was enjoy\u00ading a day in the park with his fam\u00adi\u00adly when they unwit\u00adting\u00adly became wit\u00adness\u00ades to a mob shoot\u00ading. As a result, Cas\u00adtle and his fam\u00adi\u00adly were mas\u00adsa\u00adcred, him being the only sur\u00advivor. Cas\u00adtle became deter\u00admined to get pay\u00adback by any means nec\u00ades\u00adsary. With fel\u00adlow war\u00adrior Nick Fury (of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Cas\u00adtle begins his war on crime against mob boss Wil\u00adson Fisk aka King\u00adpin, who caused the death of his fam\u00adi\u00adly and many oth\u00ader innocents. <\/span>
\nThe game plays sim\u00adi\u00adlar\u00adly to \u201cFinal Fight\u201d and \u201cCap\u00adtain Com\u00adman\u00addo.\u201d You can choose to play as either Cas\u00adtle or Fury and can team up in mul\u00adti\u00adplay\u00ader. You start off with the basics, pro\u00adgress\u00ading to com\u00adbos and var\u00adi\u00adous weapons such as hand\u00adguns, auto\u00admat\u00adic rifles and katanas. There was lib\u00ader\u00adal food and oth\u00ader pow\u00ader-ups such as cash, gold bars and dia\u00admonds that increased my score and restored health since the amount of ene\u00admies com\u00ading at me was nonstop. <\/span>
\nThe graph\u00adics were pleas\u00adant enough, although they attempt\u00aded to copy arcade cab\u00adi\u00adnet-qual\u00adi\u00adty with lit\u00adtle suc\u00adcess. I will give Cap\u00adcom cred\u00adit for mak\u00ading the graph\u00adics comic\u00adbook-like. it was like read\u00ading an actu\u00adal issue of the comics includ\u00ading cap\u00adtions \u201cBLAM<\/span>!\u201d \u201cKRAK<\/span>\u201d and \u201cBOOM<\/span>!\u201d instead of play\u00ading a rushed paint job of a pop\u00adu\u00adlar com\u00adic series video game. The music of each stage was also decent as Capcom\u2019s sound team deliv\u00adered, keep\u00ading things close to what the Pun\u00adish\u00ader feels like. <\/span>
\nWith the work Cap\u00adcom put in, the atten\u00adtion to detail made me want to pick it up to play as a return\u00ading com\u00adic book fan who knew about Cas\u00adtle and Fury but want\u00aded to learn more about the King\u00adpin and oth\u00ader Mar\u00advel vil\u00adlains such as Bush\u00adwhack\u00ader and Bonebreaker. <\/span>
\nThe Pun\u00adish\u00ader is the first suc\u00adcess\u00adful par\u00ading of Capcom\u2019s know-how with Marvel\u2019s leg\u00adendary vig\u00adi\u00adlante who wastes no time dis\u00adpens\u00ading his brand of jus\u00adtice on crim\u00adi\u00adnals. Play\u00ading through this isn\u2019t exact\u00adly punishment.<\/span><\/p>\n
