I love makeup! That’s why I’m here. I love to use it and create looks, and I’m glad you’re here! Hopefully, through my reviews, videos and photos, you’ll be inspired to love makeup and maybe learn something you didn’t know before, too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of Budget Beauty?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I love to create affordable looks — makeup that doesn’t break the bank. Sure, you can splurge and treat yourself (always treat yourself!) but there’s always a cheaper option to create something you can be satisfied with. I’m a drugstore makeup girlie — always have been — and I hope to provide reviews of the kind of makeup you can — and I do — wear everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can you expect at Budget Beauty?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I will be creating longform and shortform videos, product reviews and photos of my looks. I will also discuss my skincare routine and application tips; there’s nothing more important than a good routine for the skin and knowing some basics when it comes to putting makeup on and taking makeup off your face. We also plan to delve into men’s skincare and 4C hair care later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My aesthetic<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’m a pinup, burlesque and vintage camp horror enthusiast so my aesthetic and makeup trends toward 1940s to 1950s with a smidge of 1960s and rarely 1970s looks thrown in. I am a Bettie Page super fan and love her overall look. I’m also a major fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race and its various incarnations, so expect to see lots of references to it and the makeup knowledge I’ve learned along the way from watching many seasons of the competition and following a lot of drag queens! Music is also a major part of my life so expect that there will be lots of references to my favorite artists, bands and my large music library.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
