\nConfirmed: Here’s my Sunday best! Proton Cannon!”<\/strong> One of the most misheard sayings in the series, War Machine’s version of Proton Cannon has stumped many folks over the years. We heard “Eight by ten photo,” “Here’s my Sunday vest,” and “Bring back my baby.” We obtained the voice clips in 2009 for M.U.G.E.N and confirmed with the ability to remove background music and keep voices only with the Marvel Origins collection in 2011.<\/p>\n

\nConfirmed: “Infinity,” “Clash”.<\/strong> While Sally Cahill, the announcer of Marvel vs. Capcom, is wonderful, there are at least two phrases that sound weird until you realize exactly what they are. “Clash” sounds like “Crap” and “Infinity” sounds like “Get Back!” This was confirmed through Marvel Origins Collection in 2011.<\/p>\n

\nConfirmed: “Swing Your Body.”<\/strong> The title of the song is Swing Your Body and is said in the opening of the song. It’s our favorite track in the Versus series, and it’s one of the first tracks that we learned to love while learning the game. Friend of GI Elgin, who encouraged us to play with Ruby Heart in the early days of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, was the first to point this out. It has stuck with us since. This was confirmed with the official Marvel vs. Capcom 2 soundtrack.<\/p>\n

\nConfirmed: “Haipa Adaputa!”<\/strong> or “Hyper Adapter!” This one is tough, but we know for sure that Mega Man does not shout “It’s the Goodie Mob!” during his Hyper Mega Man super move. However, it sounds very close and the Goodie Mob was popular at the time when Marvel vs. Capcom was released. Thankfully, we love Mega Man, and we happen to love old-school Goodie Mob as well.
